NYC State Of MInd

Trapped behind the thought of danger

The bronx or shall i say most people full of anger

Growing up in a cloud of smoke

Yet it raised me thats what i love the most

It teaches you how to be humble and never lose it

Because not everyone is your big influence

Riding the trains through the tunnels watching the light

Just to come home watching people struggle and fight

Always stay true to yourself because everyone struggle

Always have a new york state of mind with a dash of  hussle

Always have a new york state of mind with a dash of  hussle

This is lovely. Especially the last two lines. This person has got it. The Midas touch, plus soul.
