O lord, why do people

O lord, why do people get high

Just to hide behind the lies

In this crazy world where fear rules over us

Where they're often judged

For what we've done

Smoke fills their lungs

Trying not to be hung

By society definition

Depression shouldn't be a relegion

This is not fun

Numb is the feeling

Emotions hit the ceiling

This is too much

But they love it a whole bunch

They finally see the sun
