O Miclette, My Miclette

Crouched on the floor of the third bathroom stall

I thought absolutely nothing of myself

Junior year was where you make it or break it at my school

And at that moment I thought it had broken me.

But as I walked into her classroom

The feeling of warmth and belonging filled my being.

She smiled and greeted me in.

No matter how bad her day may have been,

She made sure I felt wanted.

O Miclette, My Miclette

You showed me how to be strong.

O Miclette, My Miclette

You showed me where I belong.
