O My Little White Rose
O My Little White Rose
O My Little White Rose,
How there are not many of those.
There are none that are so sweet,
None could accomplish this feat.
Dear are you my prize;
I tell no lies.
There is nothing that I cherish more than you.
O My Little White Rose,
Ever so frail and fair,
Tenderly I tend with care.
Despite thine size your stature is wise.
Your purity is meek, this treasure I seek.
Your innocence none can blame;
I seek out not in vain.
O My Little White Rose,
Thy heart I love,
Gently as a dove.
Tho' upon this earth the covenant of your soul reaps little,
In the presence of your king, it is the pure in heart whom He loves.
