Obama's acceptance Speech (1st term)

As tears rush down my face I watch as history unfolds before my eyes. Who would imagine that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream would one day come true? Blacks and whites united, coming together to help this "Black man" become president. After all the struggles we have come through, hatred we have borne, being used as slaves, having to use separate water fountains, sitting at the back of the bus. All colors, all races have come together; sitting next to each other smiles on each of their faces, with their flags waving and saying "Yes we can" We can make a change! we can make a difference! A change for our country, for our world, for our children and grand children and many generations to come. Barack Obama is one of the youngest and first black person to make it this far in politics, in the world. As we await his speech "Change We Can Believe In" 45 years to the day of the "I had a Dream" speech. Oh what history we as a people have made! "Yes we can!" and "Yes we will!" This black and white man, born in Hawaii, his mother from Kansas, and father from Kenya is making Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream TRUE. YES WE CAN!!!!!
