Obedient

Everyone expects us to stand down

To learn our place

To just sit back and watch the ‘men’ do the work

To work in the kitchen slaving away all day and seem happy about it

But I can’t and I won’t seem happy about it

The men need to learn their place

Maybe they could be the ones sitting back in the kitchen

While we go out and work the mens jobs

Maybe be a lawyer or be a cop

Not just sit in the house doing cooking and acting like a nice obedient woman

Maybe we don't want to be nice and obedient anymore.
