Objectification

Dear Man,

Grabbing women inappropriately

Is the new norm in my society

My shoulders distract guys, obviously

So distracted guys have anxiety

Cat calling by them, appreciate it

It was your fault, don’t wear that in public

Equal pay is absurd just take a hint

Don’t say no, please show me, just unclip it

What about that naked girl on his shirt?

Doesn’t my education matter too

Boys will be boys, so be on alert

Feminism, I support it and you

All I ask is for you to respect me

Respecting women is not that hard, geez!

Sincerely,

Kyra Green

This poem is about young women and older. The unfairness in school and how we aren't even able to walk the streets comfortably.
