Obliterated

I remember the day clearly. We were intoxicated with each other. We talked of the sky and the clouds and how it was beautiful. The warmth of your touch was enough to set off a fire within me that was uncontrollable. As we laid between the sheets, you looked at me the way the moon looked at the ocean. So bright and beautiful, causing waves of adoration to stir within me. I will never forget the way your arms felt like wrapped around my fragile figure. It was as though you were in euphoric state of mind. You put together the pieces of my broken soul by dancing around my heart and patching up the crevices and cracks. When you told me you loved me, it was as though my demons had stopped taunting me telling me of all the black holes that resided in my universe. I will never forget how you taught me to see that a hurricane of self worth pulsates through my veins. You left me obliterated. It's okay though, because you showed me galaxies of dreams that I will continue to search for. But for now, you have run away with my heart and I will continue to run through the never ending memories of you to get it back.
