Oblivious and Inconspicious
The truth, my confession, I want regression.
Succession of this depression that keeps pressing & messing & second guessing my mind.
I find, as I rewind, back through time, it binds, me, to sorrow & regret, cheeks wet, how’d I let, this happen? I can’t breathe…
My smiles as fake as Snookie’s hair weave. Please leave!
Get out of my brain, you have nothing to gain from my pain, you’re insane, vain, on cocaine, that you’re smoking.
I’m not joking, I’m CHOKING.
From this rope with no hope I mope, not even dope can help me cope from this feeling..
On my knees I am kneeling, these cards life is dealing, I’m losing the game…
My voice is crippled, its lame, each days the same, I want change.
Before I become deranged, crazy, my sight is hazy, my strength is lazy, I’m tired.
Rewired, my life’s malfunctions, dysfunctions, I wish.
Within these four walls, with no halls, it seems I’ve done it all.
I’ve cried, I’ve lied, I feel empty inside, emotions that I hide, with nothing to confide, in, but these words, will they be heard?
I doubt it, so no. I’ve been pushed & shoved I know, down I go, here I fall, “Help!” I call, no answer…
This infectious cancer, is spreading… I need a savior.
Melancholy behavior, I have nothing to be praised for, it’s pain that I’m wielding.
My outward appearance may be misleading, but I’m begging… I’m pleading, my sanity, receding…
Living amongst the devil’s cohorts, my happiness they thwart, as ugly as a wart, let my message be short, I need you.
To take my hand, away from this land, oh wouldn’t that be grand, you don’t understand, how much I want to be free…
I want to be me.
Though my plea may seem ridiculous, it is also oblivious & inconspicuous, to others, who don’t bother.
I want to be happy.
