Obscene

The way that love can rot and fester

The way it turns into a new beast

How you can only be dragged so far

Unitl finally, you rise from the muck

And strike your captor over the skull

Painting the trees around you viciously red

Under birght moonlight there are no secrets

Millions of stars watching like eyes

Wind rattling the pines

Then suddenly

Silence
