2 Corinthians 5:6-7   New English Translation

6 Therefore we are always full of courage, and we know that as long as we are alive here on earth we are absent from the Lord— 7 for we live by faith, not by sight.

Who just walks around and uses not his body for his own success?

How can the life of Jesus be manifested in folks like these?

Believers in “how they think”, is that what is the matter?

They form a “glorious” world in church for many folks to please

They love to live life to the fullest, but they choose not to die

To the death side of existence so that God can live their lives

They do not offer weakness so God will use His strength

It seems that in the span of things they keep the darkness alive

Everything of concern is ordained from the foundation of the world

God fulfills His Will even through this body filled with pain and death

God is well aware since he made it and understands the limitations

As even my every thought He knows from my impulse to my breath

Instead of living naturally by our “own” supposedly possessed powers

We should exchange our weaknesses for His unmatched Strength

He will not transform our nature from enfeebled to a vigorous one

Nor does He store in us great quantities of strength for any length

God wants to become the lifeline to our mortal flesh

So that momentarily each may live by Him in deed

So whatever comes our way He will deliver us always?

To death for Jesus’ sake so that we’re completely free

The life of Jesus manifested in our mortal flesh

The witness that is called, the living epistle

To be read of all man to see Christ at His best

Caring loving folks like us in hope without a thistle

When we’re weak we‘re strong, there’s a constant flow of strength

Coming from the Father of life, peace, and love

So we keep on trusting in the necessary strength

That is supplied free from the Throne of God
