Observations of a Young "Black" Man
Out of kilter with balance
And ignoramusly challenged
Stands the youth with no education
Caught in the Eagle's talons
Americans losing jobs
Losing out on the loot
And the AK's are forming with nuclear war killing the troops
Unbeatable I am
And untamable I will stand
Against ignorance in the body of every African man
Though you say we're ignorant dogs
Above all of it we belong
With a greater purpose of living than being bumps on a log.
Why should I sacrifice if I wanted to live a life?
Why should a brother die if he wanted to end his strife?
And why did it appear that we all had been surfaced here to live in equal land with liberty, justice and equal fear?
The "blackest" of every man is what brings the "white" niggas joy
On the back of the "blackest" horse spraying water hose the boys.
Innovations for the people who losing to imitation
And justice for you too because peace is no longer patience.
Beyond the cover of this is something you'll forever reminisce
It's the angel wing of a boy with the world's inferior tips.
The ingeniusly brilliant kid on his way to his happiness
Followed by haunting sounds like the crack of the very whip
The new regime is redefined
Where slaves are slowly more confined
The past is in you rear view
The future's present in mine
I'd love to stay and talk
But I'm kindly killing your time
