The Ocean

I am like the ocean, the essence of unpredictability in every wave, churning and beating the vulnerable sand in anger one moment, and loving and caressing the little grains with sweet strokes the next. An endless abyss of shifting emotions and secrets swimming in the dark, with the power to lift you serenely or pull you so far under, singing ageless songs weaved from strong words to melt the hardest heart.
