The Ocean

Birds fly at the waves break

A moment I pause for breath to take

Right here in this wavy sea

Is exactly where I want to be

Battle each wave without fear

No evil or worries can touch me here

I splash and I dive, never wanting to stop

The dazzling sun setting in the backdrop

Hues of orange, red, and pinks

Illuminating the waves as the sun sinks

The current gets stronger, pulling me in

Singing an alluring song like a siren

The winds of whispered angel's prayers

Give me comfort that someone cares

Stength of nature and beauty to behold

Surround me with warmth as the day grows old
