The Ocean
Coarse gold sand,
soft sea foam,
indescent shells,
gulls that swoop low.
As the sun rises,
a new day begins,
the red dawn bleeds,
out yesterday's sins.
Dancing over the waves,
carried by the breeze,
the salty ocean air,
is all I need.
