Ocean

With eyes closed I venture far through the depths of the sea

With eyes closed I feel the waves crashing against my legs, subtly, but there

She's my muse, she's my medium

She's the freedom I yearn for but never grasp

She's the unknown and the all knowing

She takes the lives of many but returns them anew

With eyes closed I'm swimming in the night

With eyes closed I'm between the shining moon above and the mystic wonders below

She's my muse, she's my medium

She's the symphony that never stops performing

She's the wild beauty filled with a tamed hysteria

She hasn't taken my life, but I hope she does soon.
