Ocean Deep

Shivering outside in the fresh morning air,

Listening to the distant waves roar,

Uncertain of the future and filled with despair,

Drawn to the sea once more,

Overwhelmed from these feelings within,

I watch the world in slow motion,

Will there be remission of sin,

My thoughts as I enter the deep ocean,

Leaving only footprints on the shore,

Soon to be erased by high tide,

This world has left me wanting more,

My final solution for the emptiness inside.
