OCEAN EYES

Ocean eyes, when was the last time we spoke?

The thought of you brings my knees to weaken, my heart crys out to you!

How can I despise such eyes that I once called Father

Is it because my pain sits so deep in the core of my lungs I can barely breathe when your fist

Hits my wall. Maybe its the way you say "I'm sorry" after you make four more new holes

in the living room wall.

Ocean eyes when was the last time we spoke? I believe it was a year ago

after you showed up at the hospital screaming " YOU'RE NOT DEPRESSED".

No dad my scars swim so deep into my skin that I feel the burning sensation till this day.

I'm sorry turns into me being thrown into the fridge door

i love you turns into "Fuck you you're not my daughter"

Oh my sweet, sweet ocean eyes.

When was the last time we spoke?

Only a few more months till I kiss San Francisco goodbye and create something of my own.
