Ocean of Fear, Light of Hope

Fear is like a vast ocean,

hiding in the cool depths of darkness,

just below the surface.

We float on top of these fears

waiting, feeling, sinking, uplifting;

floating some more.

The ocean is a big place for these things,

a big place for significant meaning.

We can choose to fear where it leads,

and sink into the depths forever.

Or, we can walk upon the shore.
