the ocean is a monster

the ocean is a monster

lurking in the shadows

beneath the waves

which are rolling

rocks or hills

but blue, and these hills

are glassy and flowing,

they are water

off the back of a whale and the water is

hiding a monster

in the shadows

beneath the waves

in the deep

deep

chill.
