An Ocean of Sharks

The people that you love

The people that you need

Yet they're so far away

Never understanding

Never knowing how to help

But you don't want help

You say you're fine

But are you fine?

You're less than fine

You're only okay

But they don't know how to help

And you push them away

And you find yourself floating

In the middle of an ocean

Surrounded by sharks

But you still say you're fine

But you're drowning

And you don't ask for help

Till it's too late
