Oceans
(My poem is here) Oceans,
Waves of emotion,
Thoughts lost in a sea of doubt,
Trying to find a good way out,
Giving all you got 'til there is no more,
Waking to find your bed empty, and your heart full,
I sleep alone, forgetting how warm I was,
A walking body with no being,
Looking but not fully seeing,
I won't drown in my passion,
I'll simply float on the surface,
Living in this dreamland isn't what I thought it'd be,
No one will ever see what I see,
I don't expect you to understand, because I know you won't,
You don't want to,
So much confusion in my mind, my heart,
So many thoughts swimming around in the pool at the top,
The waves are crashing all around me,
Washing over me, consuming me, swallowing me whole,
Oceans,
Waves of emotion
High tide, low tide,
Dry.
