Oceans

Dear Me,

I know that your life isn't quite

What you thought it would be.

I know that you just want all of this to

End.

You want the current of your thoughts to stop carrying you

To destruction.

You want the tsunamis of your insecurities to cease

But most of all, you want to make sure no one has to choke on

The sea water as you have.

But as the water eventually levels and as the waves comes to

their unexpected prestige

So will your trials calm.

The spray of the water's salt that once stung your skin

Will be the very thing that thickens it.

With love,

You
