Ocean's Call

The waves crashing against the rocks I tightly hold his loving hands The soaring seagulls hungrily squawk As we walk barefoot in the sands The yarn of today has dwindled to strands The sand becomes cold, twilight falls Where we once stood, now somber tidelands Yet on the sand a crab still crawls Never knowing true love's call A pointless life without his love A life never full, a life never enthrall Fluttering quietly, a mourning dove. It shows us our path to take The morning glory, tender light, a new daybreak
