October

I'll hold you still, even still So trust me and this bridge we've built Made of wood and stones we haven't thrown I won't cast against you why you have grown And any time you feel alone, feel free t make my heart your home Now it's November And the weather doesn't feel better I still see you around, trudging around Eyes kept on the ground and empty hands My words can't make it through to you It's been a long time That my hands have touched this paper And a pen was held with intent But you've brought me back home A place I used to feel unknown
