i.
There she goes
Again
Back to the hospital
Like it knows no end
It doesn't and something is wrong
ii.
Her ringtone
My college fight
Song

With the pride of my school
But with heartbreak
Of a daughter's rule
iii.

That God has it in his hands
But my earthly control

But I’m doing all I can
iv.
Hydration comes
From an iv drip
And animal crackers
Not native tongue
Fall
From her lip
v.
The dogs are barking again
Underdog in tow
There he goes
Confused
Stressed
A soothing collar around his neck
vi.
I have to be strong for them
The granddaughter
Without her brother
Is expected to be
Older than she is
Anxiety
