Oda a las Uvas (An Ode to Grapes)
Las uvas son hermanas,
Hermanas del mismo vid.
Hermanas de tres colores,
Y tres usas, también.
Son las uvas que mantiene,
En el vid por todo el verano,
Y que tiene mucho sed,
Porque no tiene jugo.
Esos son las uvas pasas,
Para los almuerzos de niños,
Son las fáciles puñados,
Para manos muy pequeñas.
También tenemos las uvas,
Que tiene una usa especifica,
Los adultos los encantan,
Por su forma fermentado.
Esos son las uvas,
Que se vuelven en el vino,
Para tazas de confusión,
Y mentes sin razón.
Y el resto son las uvas,
Que continúa en su forma,
Para todos las personas,
Que le gusta por sí mismo.
Todos de los colores,
Y todos los sabores,
Son de una fruta,
Son de la uva.
(Translation:
All the grapes are sisters,
Sisters of one vine.
Sisters in three colors,
And three uses as well.
There are the grapes that stay
On the vine all summer long,
These grapes are very thirsty
Because they lack their nourishing juice.
These are the raisins,
For the lunches of little kids,
They are the easy fistfuls,
For minature little hands.
There are also the grapes
Who have one specific use
All the adults love them
For their fermented form.
These are the grapes
That get turned into wine,
For cups of confusion
And minds without reason.
The rest are the grapes
That get to stay in one form
For every single person
To love them for themselves.
All of the colors
And all of the flavors
Are all from one fruit,
They're all from the grape.)
