Odd
Oh, look at them frolic!
Skipping in the sun,
Heads held high,
They dance with jive.
All, but one.
He is different, you see?
The odd one out,
The loner;
Watching—
Where no light may reach,
Where no one can discover
That unusual twinkle,
That peculiar flicker,
As the light fades
To nothing,
But a glimmer.
