Odd Physics

I sigh to see your brow become furrowed

It has, more than before, become common

There seems something by which we’ve been followed

It’s subtler than sight my eyes can summon

It hides behind the weight of bitter words,

A clue that points to a possible link

This newly found weight has caused such discord

The culprit is not so subtle, I think

Pursuit is given by love’s gravity

The kind that makes us fall for each other

If we fell now we’d land in enmity

As we would fall apart, not together

But I’ll study physics extensively

To keep us falling harmoniously
