Ode to Algebra Class

Dizziness I am lightheaded from the intelligence Leaving my brain My IQ dropping My ears are popping From the quick decrease in altitude From living breathing human being To mindless machine --I’m in the in-between I want to turn back To my fun-loving side But the numbers And the figures are pulling And I am falling And I am sinking No more spontaneous thinking Unless I escape… escape… escape… Escape from algebra class
