Ode to bed
I lay on you
Temple thumping like exploded fireworks
Stress reliever
Drift away in a
A thought
A dream
No more contemplating
The peaceful cuddling
Tampers with my mind
Melted butter on popcorn
Ice cream on a beach boy tongue
Sinking me into your soft touch
Bouncing on you as if i was trampolining
The king of the sun
In the sky like sunrise
The beginning of daylight
And eating a nice warm pie
Not overpowered by gravity
Having my back more than anyone
Allowing me to trust you with closed eyes
I lay on you
Placed on my back
Another on top
You support me
On the ride to heaven
Placing the other body
Into my spot
You help me massage
Their back
Embrace me
I lay on you
The fresh shower scent powder and baby oil
Smell of new furniture
Not to much
Not to less
Smell of washed dog
Clean
And
Refreshed
Without company
I lay on you
