Ode to Brother Chalk

Brother Chalk, O Brother Chalk,

So white with snowy powder,

Soft to touch you leave your mark,

Upon the hands that hold you.

Quickly you are worn away,

For love of us young students,

Dying in professor's hand,

We never will forget you.
