Ode to Chai

The constant wagging of your tail is a reminder that life is simple Your only worries are that there might not be time to play another game of fetch You yearn for nothing besides love and dish full of food No cares to appearance Colors are nonexistent anyway Your antics are both amusing and depressing No matter how many times I pretend to throw the ball You still run after it every time But when I feel your warm body And look into your deep eyes I know that you are living life right
