An Ode to Coffee
The merry moon faded out.
The sorrowful sun came about.
I awakened like the living dead,
Seeing nothing but waves across my bed.
Then, Morning Joe saved the day.
Its flavors colored the grey.
I was swept in its black blended swirl,
Seeing nothing but its gentle whirls.
Gloom of doom to dove of love.
I bless thy good mug above.
