Ode to the Confused

Hello.

This is for you.

The broken down

the tired

the weary, and damp.

Held down by questions of why

of who,

of how did my life end up this way.

I want to let you know that it's okay.

That it's okay to be confused.

it's okay to hurt a little

or hurt a lot.

It's okay to not understand how life works.

It's okay to hate it for a little while.

But please remember to stand back up.

To one day look those questions in the eye and

choose your next move.

Whether it be to scream your heart out

or cry until there are no tears left.

Or simply turn and walk away just far enough that you can turn around and say

Me. I am the answer.
