Ode to the Cruise Ship

You give me relaxation when I'm riding through the ocean

When I'm traelng with you on the cruise, I have a break from school

You free me from homework and test

You give me somewhere far from chilly New England

You give me unexpected adventres

I hear the Ocea crashing against you

The breeze sailing past you

Seagulls fighting over food

Inside you, I hear people conversing for the first time

Dance parties fill my ears

You  let me smell the salt from the ocean

You let me smell the sunsreen by the poo

At the barbeque,  I smell juicy steaks cooking

fruiy alcohol drinks are behind the bar

Inside my room you allow me to smell fresh sheets and pillowcases

Your gift to my tastebuds is the taste of juicy steaks

I sip your refreshing drinks

I sample a variety of foods at the buffet

I enjoy your delicious desserts

When I go outside, I taste the salty air

I feel your movement smashing through the waves

and the cool water as I jump in your pool

I relax as I get a massage at your spa

and dance to the beat of your music outside on the deck

I feel the sand on the beach when you stop to rest
