Ode to Dog
Oh, Instinct! How sweet and nice are thee!
Oh, how I love your intelligence, great friend!
Just for you to layest across my lap is a pleasure for me!
To stroke your short hair as we layest in the shade!
To hear the thudding of your tail as you get excited to
see me is quite a sound!
Shall I remember when thee were a youngin', I beg?
The mere excitement of us coming to thy cage,
BRought thee to lose all thy fliuds from thy body!
The fright of thy owner when you knew that you made a
big oopsie
Is one that is quite tragic!
The day that thou did not come back into thy house,
It made my heart sinketh in my soul!
You wanted to explore the backyard of ours and thy
neighbors!
Biting the tip of the nose off of that stuffed teddy
dog was that of amusement
Your thought of that mere stuffed animal being real was
comical!
Oh, how I wish that thee would be able to talketh!
To tell me thy thoughts and adventures you endure!
To know how you feel is a thought that bothers my soul!
Oh, Instinct how I miss thee so much!
Oh, how I wish to see you more than I do now!
