Ode To Dreams

Ode To Dreams

To the rock stars in disguise

To the songs that make you cry

For the astronauts undercover

And for all those secret lovers

For the people who live like they’re always sleeping

Never pursuing always dreaming.

But to those who always strive

Your spirit never really dies

This is a thanks

For making the world a better place.

Thank you for shooting when it didn’t go in.

You’d shot over and over again

Thanks for going against the tide

Can I please add one star to your sky?

I long to be different, just like you.

I want for my dreams to come true.

This life needs to be bigger than small town

Give me a chance, I won’t let you down.
