I won’t! I won’t!

I tell you I shan’t, just because

You say that I ought, and should

Though I know that I can, I won’t.

I shall! I shall!

I tell you I will, even if

I cannot and shouldn’t,

Or perhaps it is you who is scared that you can’t

So you say that I shouldn’t instead;

You can tell me I oughtn’t all that you like

But I will, since you say that I can’t!
