Ode to the Krispy Kreme

Your flavor is so blissful You’re the food of the gods I can never have too much. The best thing to ever come from North Carolina It’s better than ice cream, or cookies, or cake Fresh baked and mouthwatering Whether you’re cream filled, chocolate, the original glaze, Or even crullers and sprinkles I can never say “no” Especially when you come With coffee or hot chocolate When I see those priceless words, “Hot Doughnuts Now” I can see the gates of paradise You never fail to enhance my morning Warm from the oven You are not just “comfort food” You are the best thing this side of heaven You are the freshly made Krispy Kreme
