ode of love + hate

you looked me right in the eye I could see the burning embers of hell reflect in those damn blue eyes and maybe I shouldn’t love who I love but your mouth those words you’d think I fell head over heels for a serial killer no she’s just a girl and it happens to be i am too you think I want fame? come back from heaven all I feel is shame from you and your gang you act like all we want is notoriety we just want acceptance for our entirety and yes maybe those signs in your hand letters like bullets piercing our hope will end up in a landfill and maybe 30 years from know this will be a story of injustice documented on the pages of a middle school textbook maybe this hate will fade but right now this day minute second I feel my heart break
