Ode to Music

Oh my euphonious music,

You have drifted my soul along

You have powered down such burdensome thoughts

And have been a comforting friend thus long

Oh my timeless singers,

You have aided me in goodbyes

To those buzzing and stinging memories

That my tormented mind would occupy

Oh my uplifting melodies,

You have reminded and empowered me

To rise like a phoenix from the ashes,

A strong woman who is carefree

Oh my music, my friend,

You have helped many journey too

Aiding in transformations,

To become independent people with dreams to pursue

We are happy, healthy, thankful humans

with no space left for our toxic foes

Whom in our lives we have learned to finally outgrow
