Ode to My Bestfriend
You're always there when I need you.
Every turn I'm on the edge of my seat
You always manage to get emotions out of me that I'd never show
You put my imagination to the test
It feels like a movie when I'm with you
Nights spent under blankets with flashlights so Mom won't see
Or running into poles and people, tripping over my own feet,
Or even getting yelled at because of you
Everyday with you had made my life better
This is my ode to you
To the one that's never failed to put a smile on my face
To the one who's made me laugh and cry and scream
To the one who's been with from the start
To the one I never plan on letting escape
An Ode to my bestfriend
An Ode to Books
