An Ode To My Father

When a baby girl is born, a father becomes attached.

Like a best friend my father and I are attached.

Although he calls me weird and retarded at times

I return the favor with a inevitable comeback.

Of course my father hates that I have grown but what if I hate the fact he has grown

My father inspires me to never give up on someone,

Even though he has said I’m done

I know that my father is ,merely, just beginning.
