An Ode to My Hair

Dear Hair,

You're a wavy whorl

Flowing through the air

The blonde spirals of curl

Full of frizz.

Unlike my friends' straight locks

Whom lay softly is

Mostly straightened and faux

I've learned to embrace

Creatively control

Keep in place

My mane in whole.

Cherished above

You are a terrific thrill.

Love,

Jill
