a ode to my parents : I'll sing your songs

I remember when we were kids you used to tell us stories of prince and princess even though you didn't believe you made us believe that any thing was possible if we just dream you made a great team Together you taught me how to stand on my two feet whenever I fell down, you held my hands in times of need it's you who taught me ABC and also how to count 123 because of you I can write this I'll sing the songs that you used to sing all the lullabies that put me to sleep i would tell the world the reason why i exist i'll tell them everything about life you told me I remember the times when i used to be sad, when these tears were used to be my friend you were the one who held me in your arms and wiped these tears and told me to be strong you showed me the difference between right and wrong your strengths and weakness are reminder to me that not everything or everyone is perfect in this world it's truly who we are from inside that define us I do remember all the good and bad memories filed them in my hearts cabinet Today when I open it I cherish these moments and I would like to thank you for everything you did for me When the times come i'll take your hand when I walk down that aisle when tears glimmer down your cheeks i'll be the one to say don't cry smile please you are truly god's gift
