Ode to my Sister

Life was empty before we met But I did not fret For what seemed like four years for you Was nothing for me, if only you knew I am lucky to call you my sister And also one of my best friends Together we sparkle and glitter Our fashion always setting new trends You’ve shared all of my laughter and my tears You have encouraged me through all of my years As children we constantly fought each other But came together to fight our big brother All the pillow fights and pulling of hair It’s a wonder we’re such an ideal pair As we grow older and begin to part You no you will always be in my heart Whether it’s a phone call to keep in touch We’ll always be together I know this much You always tell me to look forward and Never look back, for my future is grand I thank god for such a blessing as you You will back me up till the very end You will always be my one true friend I love you, Sis, till our life's end
