Ode To my Sister

Ode to my sister

My dearest sister…

You have been by firmest anchor

In life

Just when I think that i

Will be swept away

In a sea of trials

You were always there

To put an anchor

Upon my restless soul

You have been my refuge

I always seek you advice

And love

When I am most down

And hopeless

Even though I’ve been a pain

In your life

You always transform that pain

Into someone jubilant

Dearest carmina…

You will always be my sunshine

You are like

A breeze under the blazing sun

A Drink of water

In a deadly desert

A cozy cottage

In the wilderness

I will be  in your debt eternally

Your passing has left

A great, stinging, sorrowful

Mournful grave hole within my heart
