Ode to Myself

Ode to Myself

What a tragic image…

a beautiful tempest

Your typhoon

touches my land

I am reminded of the image.

Will I catch you

before the damage?

Mend your self-inflicted wounds

That cannot bleed onto skins

But into chests.

Your veins,

even as they ache

I love you

My catastrophic love,

We will rebuild.

As We always do.
