An Ode To Neon Green

Where is the life I used to have

Carried in my suitcase

Of neon green?

Did it dissapear down

The rabbit hole of

Beige, nothing but

b e i g e.

Did it fall down the

Rabbit hole of caring?

Of giving a damn?

Of adhering to

s t e r e o t y p e s?

Let neon green in,

I beg you,

Or blinding yellow,

Or whatever your damn colour is.

And if your color is beige

Then rock the hell out of that

Paint your life sweet, subdued beige.

And own it.

Just don't be beige to fit a

s t e r e o t y p e

When all the colors

Are equally awesone

And we need every color

In this world.
